Identify who controls the record
For membership, visitor, attendance, giving, household, prayer or pastoral records, begin with the church that collected the information. For Zionel account administration, website use or business communications, use the Zionel route identified in the final privacy notice.
For the global Zionel identity, account holders can also use the signed-in deletion workflow described at /account-deletion.
Prepare a safe request
State the right or outcome requested, the relevant church if any, and enough contact information for identity verification. Do not send a password, one-time code, payment-card data, government identifier or confidential ministry narrative.
Verification and authorized agents
The responsible party may request proportionate verification and evidence of an agent’s authority. Verification details, response periods, appeal rights and exceptions depend on applicable law.
Limits and exceptions
A request may be limited where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal claims, financial records or other lawful obligations. The rights available to you depend on applicable law and the records involved.
Contact state
For church-managed records, contact your church first. For your Zionel account, use the privacy controls in your profile or the public account-deletion guide. For other privacy questions, follow the contact guidance provided by Zionel. Do not include confidential records in an initial inquiry.
Need another hand?
